SamyGO Extensions [v0.03.6]

I've no idea why, but I can't get samba to work. I do get upnp and bluetooth, but no samba server, although I did try to follow guides from this topic (entered server static IP address and account details, sharing is enabled on the server). Also, upnp took forever to search all files (10k), about 10min. What I did like is, compared to DLNA, I could use file resuming and FF/RW seemed to work faster. But unfortunately, upnp stopped working after a while (something about no files/server found), had to restart.

My setup:
RBLE37B650T2PRXC (30_2005) running SamyGO Extensions [v0.03.5 Beta],
win 7 ultimate/32bit running on server.

1. in this version you have to use fusesmb.init file for user and password settings and not samba.init
2. you read the document about win7 and file sharing?

1. My bad, I was changing samba.init on both versions, 3.5 and 3.1. The latter did not work at all (not even upnp and BT).
2. I did not read about that, but surprisingly I already have it configured it as I should (as far as I can tell), except for "Use user accounts and passwords to connect to other computers" option instead of "Use windows to manage..." (and Firewall, which I have disabled anyway).

I'm not sure, but I think I have my server configured correctly, since I can connect to it with my Macbook via smb...
I'll edit fusesmb.init on 3.5 and try again when I get home.

if you can check to get telnet/ssh access to tv can you pls. check the output of

There is a small bug with the v0.03.5 Beta, when the tuner is on an HDTV channel (1080i) and I launch the script, the TV restart.
But if I launch the script on a SD channel, it works like a charm.

PS: I use the DVB-C tuner

NB: what can I do if I simply want to use the extensions script with only a NFS server?

your start it from content library or just from command line? (whit shipped libSamyGO.so, i wonder if it not crash on every start )

you can delete/rename not required files from SamyGO/etc/init.d/ (see first post in this thread)

but don't ask for support if you delete some libraries or binaries.

Finally figured it out why I had problems; apparently I had an IP address confilct (sorry, we have a big network between 3 houses) - my TV and some wlan AP had the same IP. Now I get the "Windows server" option in media play. But if I try to browse through any files (Music,Movie....) I get "No movie files on current device...". I guess I have to check again 04_04_fusesmb.init and my win 7 sharing...

EDIT: after fixing IP confilct still no luck with samygo extensions. Also, it's very common that after extensions are run, TV reboots or doesn't respond anymore - behaving unstable.

reboot is "fixed" (simple start, no visual in libSamyGO.so) in latest release. see first post in thread.
