Should be enough to block the First 3 IPs which would block the otn Communication
Yeah that's WONDERFUL idea :D Especially when you want me to NEVER release new root :D You block IP. Samsung changes DNS settings and good bye :P
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!

I believe you have simply to activate extended menu in the service menu and OTN becomes accessible.
The procedure is with IR extender as explained in the wiki.

You must block everything from samsungotn.net and msecnd.net

Code: Select all

samsungotn.net
msecnd.net
This works!

Haha, yeah sorry, I should have clarified. No method to modify the setting has been found.

Blocking the IPs or dns names works. =)
