Probably no because of 1290... Maybe if you had stopped updates at 1280...

What means probably? Even the donator method is blocked? Downgrade is not possible?

"Probably" because from (not much for now) feedback, 1290 is no longer rootable using any existing method, and to downgrade, root is of course mandatory :)

Dammed, this reminds me on the usual cat and mouse game on the IOS platform. Hopefully a new method will occur...

Only if OTN Support disabled and updates blocked on router :)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!

ehm..i was on 1290.2 and successfully rooted, and downgraded to 1230.4 ;)
