Data Acquisition - H Series

Hi, I'm a Computer Forensics student investigating Smart TV data acquisition for my final year project. I am using a Samsung UE48H6400 and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to extract data from the TV via a rooting method? I am aware of the browser exploit for the H series and the Skype method used with the SamyGo application. Any guidance would be appreciated.
