Hi together. I have some problems with this root methode. I have a F6xxx TV and had the donors root running. I red that this root is way faster
then the donors root and downgraded my TV with the libdowngrade to FW 1119. All worked well, but right now it is impossible to root with the described methode. I unpluged the donors root usb drive and started my TV, when I press the SmartHub button the TV gets insane slow and laggy and it takes forever to open the "More Apps" section.
When I'm in the More Apps screen, I Plug in the USB drive prepared like described in first post, but the widget does not show up.
Another thing is, when I start my TV with the donors root usb drive, SmartHub is fast and responsible, but also the rooting widget does not show up when I plug in the prepared usb drive.

Do I need to remove some files from donors root to get this root methode?
What I've tried so far: SmartHub reset, System Reset (TV Menu and Service Menu), upgrade to latest Samsung FW -> Downgrade -> This root methode.
Nothing fixed this so far. Everytime I Downrade the SmartHub is very slow when donors usb drive is unpluged.

I have some problems to get the Sype replacement root working.
TV UE32F 4580 FW T-MST12DEUC 1008.1

With the old skype root evreything worked fine. Now I saw the skype isn't longer available

and try to install the replacement root.

Firmware should be OK
After installing "SamyGo-F" I got the 6 lines with OK
Restart TV
Starting SamyGo PVR Decoder I get always the message "Unable to connect FTP-server (IP

Adress is OK can ping the TV from PC).
Tested it without firewall and switched off Antivirus - same behavior.

Testing with "Putty" and "NCat" I got the message "Connection refused", but I may not really know how to handle these programs (just put in the IP adress).

Started "RestoreSmG" from Smarthub after that the TV starts to reboot after 15s everytime.
Put the file STOP_SAMYGO to USB Stick. rebooting is now OK, but still no contact with SamyGo PVR decoder.

I did not disable the firmware updates, because I do not have the Menu Item "OTN Support", but my firmware seems to be OK, so I think that could not be the problem.

Any help strongly needed

I though older is better for rooting, but if you mean it could help I will try it.

There is one on Samsung HP. But you just have to extract the exe to any FAT32 formated USB drive, plug it in TV on open Software Update in Samsung Menu. The TV will ask to use USB drive where you have to press OK. Wait till TV reboots and you are on your new FW

Firmware should be no higher than 1119, but not so old.
Instruction on Samsung web-site.
Firmware downgrading (if officially) is impossible.

I had this problem yesterday when upgrading from Skype-root to non-Skype-root on T-MST12DEUC-1102.1. I think it will be useful for others to state in first post that very old firmware might not work (because I did not see your comment until after some hours of solving it by myself )

First, I did upgrade using red button (skip the samyext4.img linked in first post, Skype disappeared but old root still installed). After this, root was working (I had FTP access) except there was no telnet access.

Second, I uninstalled Samygo and then reinstalled with the new samyext4.img (linked in first post). After this, with watchdog enabled, the TV reboots as soon as Samygo loads. With watchdog disabled, the TV freezes as soon as Samygo loads. Need to put usb with STOP_SAMYGO file in root into tv for stable boot without root.

Third, I uninstalled Samygo using STOP_SAMYGO and uninstall widget, upgraded firmware to T-MST12DEUC-1119.0 and then reinstalled Samygo using new samyext4.img. Voila! After this it was working
