I don't have any of those additional devices in my home cinema. Believe it or not, Samsung B650 satisfy all my current multimedia needs (Samba Share for Audio and Video from storage, TwonkyBeam for YouTube, WMS for everything else - not that much, usually just web material, and of course - no gaming).
I'm not sure that any of those DLNA receivers can chew raw material spit out by video capture driver (if not in some lite-compressed format), since they also require some commonly used formats. But if you're willing to try, mix the prerequisites for output of Video driver and input in player so match commonly used potential formats. I started my research by finding supported formats by my TV (created files using VLC and played them). After that, I filtered out those ones not having necessary quality or speed.

Any particular Video Capture Driver you have in mind?

BTW, has there been any progress in regard to streaming PC contents such as the desktop or the entire output of a media player (video and audio) to the TV?

I finally managed to stream.

I uses a screen captuerer and audio capturer which you can open in VLC and stream to localhost. The localhost url is inserted in Serviio that can be accessed via DLNA.
But the quality of MPEG2 that VLC gave me was too poor. H.264 consumes too much CPU power. Even on my 3.4 GHz i7 I had jerky movies.

Finally I ended up with a device called Sitecom PConTV that works just fine.
