1.) Contact Arris69 and give him your bd-s UID (search in smart hub settings) then you will receive instructions...
2.) Copy /genoa/samsung_pvr to SamyGO directory ....\SamyGO\opt\privateer\usr\sbin
Copy 01_04_pvr_drm_disable.init to \SamyGO\etc\init.d
That what i did.
At last my D-Series TV still says "DRM-Protected" while I can open the files with PC and play them....

Re: DRM remove for BD-D6900 ?
this rooting method should bring new stuff for "end users" before samsung close it, so i'll wait for devs who need access to the device for testing their stuff.crazykiwi wrote:Does that mean this forum is a very exclusive VIP club now?? What is the reason for this uncommon decision?
for me personally it's not from interest that 4 or 5 people can make drm-free recordings on bd-player or not...
if this is true then show me a post what i should send to fus.samsungmobile.com instead ofI am very active in other forums (e.g. XDAdevelopers and modaco) - nowhere else people try to hide knowledge from others... Very disappointing...
Code: Select all
{call sp_agsm_dtest_by_client('I5700XXJCB','I5700DBTJC6','I5700XXJC1','I5700XXJCB','DBT','XX','GT-I5700')}
we have nothing to hide, but maybe we like to kick samsung in the ass with 2 feets not just with one...
However, thanks for reacting...
I would be very thankful if anybody could give me "unofficial" information on how to root the BD-D6900!

my question was mobilephone related...crazykiwi wrote:...
These forums are not about Samsung TVs/BDs but about mobile phones.arris69 wrote: if this is true then show me a post what i should send to *deleted* instead of *deleted* to get the info about the next firmware version
like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpos ... ostcount=3 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpos ... tcount=281crazykiwi wrote:You can get any information about custom firmwares and other mods/hacks from there - everybody there willingly posts any new findings...![]()
no problem, maybe you get some insperation, write little proggie and we help you to test it...crazykiwi wrote: As I just bought my first Samsung BD-Player two weeks ago I have nothing to contribute about hacking BD-Player or TVs unfortunately...
