Okay, reinstalled SamyGO from the server and yes, the recordings are not scrambled...
Fine, I really appreciate all the work you guys do... but this is weird... how are we supposed to know that a new important functionality was silently added to the package?!
Are we supposed to reinstall SamyGO every few days or so?!
This really doesn't make sense...

till now all updates where announced here:
http://forum.samygo.tv/viewforum.php?f=22
and if we see some reports from users that a hack is working then its go into the rooting widget.
if we don't see reports but we assume that hack is working its also go into the rooting widget but no further announce will be done (quid pro quo)

Well, but that concerns only ARM models.
And according to the discussions there PVR decrypting doesn't work in Mstar models... nothing there points to a fact that it would be working... at least not for us normal users, not understanding Linux.

Hmmm, but I have to ask again - how should the users clearly know a) that something was included in the widget, b) when it was included?!
Even the packages in SVN don't get updated (so that we could at least track the SVN changes)...

Super! Thanks!
Maybe one more edit - the wiki page says "...no patches like DRM disable", which is not completely true now

How can you access the recordings of your TV on your Pc if the TV will format the disk in a format that the PC does not accept? Im my case, the pc asks me to format the hard drive!

yes, to xfs file system, which is accessible from linux...
or using special apps, like
explore2fs and other - on windows.
sure, formatting means - loosing all data.

Ok, I do not know if it has been said before, but it is possible to access and copy the recordings to the PC using the FTP program. No need to connect the disk to the PC to access the recordings of tv!
