It seems a bit crazy to buy a $60 remote control just to change one setting.
Completelly agree. As i wrote already on the other thread, we have much cheaper way to send those codes to TV. Look at
the wiki!
@SEAEngineer, thanks for the info and support, and welcome to the board!

Good news, I found the remote for $20. However, before I buy it, I need be certain that this remote will make all the settings NOT greyed out.
Also, are you certain this setting makes the stuttering go away? What other behavior/settings does the UD9500 setting manipulate? I don't mind spending $20, as long as I know I will gain something significant from it without any sacrifices.

Hmmm.. are you asking me? i dont think I understand. This isnt something I can just keep guess since I cant obviously experiment on such expensive equipment. Cant you just tell me how to change the setting in a way that actually works? i thought you already did this on your tv. it doesnt do much good if I dont have a way to actually change the setting. if I have to buy the remote control with the model number you suggested to change that setting i need to be certain it can be reproduced by you.

How did "you" change your setting? I am willing to order the factory remote control once you can confirm that this definitely works with the factory remote control (part number is AA81-00243A).
Also, what features/settings do I gain or lose by making this change? Once you can confirm that this definitely works, I can suggest a definitive procedure to everyone else who has the stuttering issue.
Thanks in advance,
