I think it's due Samsung wants to force you to buy a new TV for subtitles on 3D...
What a new feature for next series
Buy a media player for $50 and forget this crapware player on TV...

So models like m ue40d6000 DON'T REGONISE 3D SUBTITLES AT ALL????
And what models of samsung 3d tv SUPPORT 3d subtitles and which 3d subtitles file types support?
I ASK THAT BECAUSE I COMMUNICATE WITH SAMSUNG AND DON'T GIVE ME ANY ANSWER AT ALL.
My opinion is that samsung MUST UPGRADE THE SOFTWARE OF EACH 3D TV THAT CAN REGONISE 3D SUBTITLES FILES LIKE IDX/SUB AND NOT MAKE US BUY MEDIA PLAYERS....
