I rooted my UE40D6500 as described here:

I guess I don't have the SamyGO Extensions yet. Can I just copy the precompiled files to my TV? I got ftp access.

Okay, I got it to work now. I had to read my way through a lot of broken English though... Someone should clean up the wiki

client become unacessible over gui at high download speed. Recomendation: use speed limiter or just wait until torrent download finishes.
I limited the download speed to 100 kb/s on my 1.2 MB/s line, the TV's wifi got a 216 Mbit/s connection. The gui is still unaccessible. So maybe it is not an issue of the download speed but something else?

Yes, GUI inaccessibility is one of known issue.

Well, I'm German. But I spent some time in the US, so I might be able to make the wiki a little more readable. How can I serve you guys best?

Successfully installed and running on D8000 but can't write to my smb network share, transmission error is that the device "has no space left" when it tries to write to the disk.

Can be your samba is read only? Iirc you're using custom mount scripts...

I can write to the samba share from the terminal so that's not it. Maybe transmission is checking /dev/usb/sdb which reports 0 available space. I'm back to using the stock samygo extension scripts too since I fried another board.

I have never tried to use nfs or samba mounts for transmission. But the problem can be samba mount delay (it takes a while) and if transmission is called before samba mounts are finished, you get this error. Despite transmission is called as the last script in the boot sequence.
