AFAIK, the exact location of the debug console signals is not known yet for BD-E6100 :(
So, to get the debug console, you'll need to investigate on the board (having an oscilloscope is highly recommanded)
If anyone with a BD-E6100 is interested, we can help here to locate the signals with hires photos of the board

Thanks mate once more ! do you still have a copy of Firmware : 1006.3 ? I have already confirmed that 1013 is the issue. I am trying to get a copy online and flash it through the USB

@oga83
I am interested. I can try this weekend.

@Reuben
I do not think is possible to downgrade. I already upgraded to 1013 (it made it by itself). Maybe smb of the developers can upload to the server earlier version of 1006.3.

ok, I'll try to help !
Take high resolution picture of your PCB, both sides.
To locate the signals, follow the guideline at the end of http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Serial_console
Do you have an oscilloscope ? a voltmeter ?

I do not have oscilloscope. I have only voltmeter. If voltmeter do not work for this procedure, I can find oscilloscope.

If the pads can be located without any doubts, an oscillo is not mandatory
Otherwise, you're almost blind...
So, let's first have a look at your photos !

New FW version released B-FIRBPEWWC 1053.2 is 224MB. Strange here is that this FW version is almost 2 times bigger than the previous versions (about 107MB). As a see the FW file is called BD-E5900. In the official samsung website see that BD-E5900 and BD-E6100 are same products but for different markets. Interesting here is that BD-E5900 probably runs B-BRCME59BSP but come with the same FW update. Maybe samsung build the same player but with different FW (because of the region restrictions).

I don`t wonder if here is same model with different platforms (remember c530/550 mstar and trident? also c6000 mstar and arm...)
