The tv set is in hospitality mode now.

Thanks.

What is the difference between NOVATEK 4 and NOVATEK 5 series chip (fw T-NVTE4DEUC_1008.0_SAMSUNG4003 vs T-NVTE5DEUC_1012.0_SAMSUNG6030)? Is it ARM family or anything else? I couldn't find any useful info on novatek homepage: http://www.novatek.com.tw.
T-NVTE4DEUC firmwares come with 2012y 4th series models (e.g. yours)
T-NVTE5DEUC firmwares come with 2012y 6th series models (e.g. EH603X), crippled ones( just 200Hz MR, only one USB port), compared to same series based on T-MST10PDEUC.
Some interesting info, which could explane your question.

We don`t have firmware decryption keys for this firmware neither ways to root. If it is possible to do firmware upgrade online, you could try to enter SamyGO DNS, make cold TV start and try to search for firmware online. We collect some info about TV, addresses and so on. Post PM your IP you`re connecting from. Thanks!

About risk flashing different firmwares: 200% brick. You can try just only if you`re sure they`re cross-compatible, have same partition structure, sizes and so on. And just only if you have root access...

I suggest you also to search code for top debug menu trough exlink cable. Perhaps here is unlimited shell left on device?

Hi,

I will check my external IP when at home...
Ex-link is working, but console still locked... I think i've tried all of the known unlock codes (if someone could update wiki?).
Is there any reason why the model 6030 is available through menu settings and not any other 6-series model?

Thanks.

I think only reason is same firmware family and/or hardware base. Duno ...
No code updates on wiki since few months. If we could get online firmware, then perhaps keys could be found too..

Hi there,

so the solution could be if someone with the simiral model (supported one, EH6030 for ex.) try to upgrade through your DNS?

Thanks.

Hi everyone,

it seems, the code for DLNA streaming is missing in the firmware package (T-NVTE4DEUC).
When I switched to 6030 model (the T-NVTE5DEUC firmware is suitable for the model), "ALL Share" icon appears in the Media menu (CONTENT button on the remote), but TV immidiatelly restarted when activating it. I had to enable "All share -> ON " in SM as well. If the screen is mirrored, you can set "HV Flip" SM item to correct his.
I think there has to be left some functionality in the "System -> Settings" menu item that will set parameters depending on the model in the SM.
Activating this menu item (and folowing the wizard) can brick your tv set, when the model type in SM was set incorrectly.

Anyway, virtual USB mount should be enough for media streaming from NAS, because Network is available through external wifi adapter.

Any hints how to move forward with the issue (network streaming)?
Copying the content to USB is really annoying.

Thanks.

I also have this TV (North American model: UN32EH4003F) and am looking forward to see what other features I can get out of it :)

I'm new to the forums and I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but here is the link to the latest firmware (1008).
