Found my Balls again and gave this a try :-)

Changed my UE40ES7000 in Service Menu (with Service Control) to UE40ES8000 without any Problems.... Done a factory reset (in Service Menu) after that...

Improvements? Changes? Don't know... Will report if I find some... But I don't think so :-)

Thanks again to vanisz who answered my question steadily...

Hey guys,

When I enter the service menu I see that Basic Model and SVC Model are greyed out and I can't change them.
How do I get the service control you're talking about?

Thanks in advance

I know two ways:
Build your own IR Transmitter
http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Remote ... ransmitter

Or buy an Service Control (not original Samsung) - This is a link to German Ebay - He'll ship to EU - Watch your TV Model!!!
http://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_trksid=p ... &_from=R40

I heard from a guy how build his own Service Control but I Don't know where I found this...

I bought this control before I read about the IR Transmitter possibility - I would give it a try...

40 euro?? you guys are crasy if you spend such money for tool which you will never use in future. Better buy someething for your sweet ppeople or yourself but don't spend it for service remote. Sure it is up to you, but...

IR transmitter cost is few euro max: three dyi parts: two IR diode and one 3.5 male stereo jack. plus few minutes soldering without soldering skills.

To enter service mode i used irRemote (Psiloc irRemote) application on nokia e51 that turns mobile phone into ir remote controler. In that application You will have Samsung service remote template.

So it costs me notng.....except time.

Yes - I know it - now :-) As I bought my TV I didn't even know that SamyGo (and its nice Wiki) exists! Found this Service Control and bought it without thinking :-) However!

Now I would prefer (of couses) the self made solution via IR Transmitter...

@vanisz

Hey Vanisz.. I recently wanted to try the internal Camera with the Samsung Camera App but it seams that it is not working propperly!

If I start the app it didn't show the Live-picture... Furthermore its not possible to shot photos (TV hangs and only EXIT button is possible).... Videorecoring works but also only in "blind-mode" without showing the live-view again...

Camera-Hardware should be OK because gesture control and its calibration works (also with its live-view)

Is your Camera App working after changing to ES8000 ?

EDIT - looks like SamyGo issue - Not an issue of "Change to 8000"
