Clapping :)
I don't know ScummVM games. I don't play them on TV.
It's better to have a link to a portal that has scummvm games. :)

samygorocks wrote:Hey,

great to have Scumm on my TV!

Just got two questions concerning the new version:
-Is the sound still out of Sync in 1.1.1?
-Does anyone know how to permanently add the games and save paths in scumm? (Everytime i start the tv again and start scumm the games are gone - maybe possible to solve this problem by placing an ini file somewhere?)

Thanks for your help!
ini is saved on usb drive: #define DEFAULT_CONFIG_FILE "/dtv/usb/sda1/.scummvmrc"
regarding sound, it's tv software issue, nothing we can do.

dzonins wrote:Hello,

first thank you very much for enabling Scummvm on our TV's :D .

Scummvm is still developing ;) , and as I went through the source tree there are still platform files for samsungtv and there are new releases, but as I thought they don't work  . (The game never exits, the screen freezes, as if the drawing surface is never disposed, but TV recognizes the new USB drives, as the popup is visible over the frozen picture; frozen meaning that no input event goes to the TV-app and makes change to the GUI)

My question is, if it is possible to support the new version of Scummvm by SamyGo :?: , or do you have some pointers for me, before I try to modify the code of 1.2.1 Scummvm  .

I am no expert for my Samy as I don't have time to play with it ("I have you lovely people" :P ), but if I get time I could surely take a look under the hood of Scummvm just to play my old favorite games that are supported after 1.2.0 release.

NK
I'll look into soon.

In meantime what path for .scummvmrc you suggests ?
I think /mtd_rwarea/.scummvmrc might be good.
However for saves I'm not sure. But propably similiar like /mtd_rwarea/ScummVM Saves/
or one dir for both in /mtd_rwarea/ScummVM/ ?
I am a bit shame, truely I didn't tested latest release
I didn't have time at realease.
I'll look into issue which you describe and upload here. No point re upload at scummvm.org as next release will be soon :)

Hi,

Thank you very much for ScummVM. I recently discover it for Samsung TV and I'm very interested to use it, to play again the games of my childhood. But I have some problems with it.
- there is no sound, in any game I've tried
- when exiting ScummVM, the TV becomes frozen, I have to unplug power cord, reproduces every time
- some games don't work, I had success with Goblins 1, Loom and Indiana Jones, but Monkey Island 1 and 2 did not work.

The ScummVM version is 1.2.1 downloaded from scummvm.org.
The TV model is in my signature.

Please tell me if I can help with testing. Thanks!
