Yeah ok, tried F says it installed fine, no errors. But FTP and telnet refused connection. Tried that netcat and didnt seem to bring up anything @ the prompt. So I assume thats the same thing.

I have 1004 firmware

Tried both Ethernet and Wifi

Found this

"I also did read in some russian forum that someone got ftp access on 1003 firmware. Unfortunately i had already updated to 1004 at that point. I can't believe Samsung disabled Samygo in firmware for Evolution Kit, that doesn't make sense considering they have not done that for any other TV."

In another post, can anyone confirm this? Can we downgrade?

Neither are working,

As the above post, someone is saying that Samsung have blocked it on the v1004 of the Evokit firmware

@liminal
can you do a port scan for open ports in wireless mode and try another in wired mode?

Sorry about the delay here, been super busy with work.

Ill try and have a look @ this tonight.

If its any consolation, my FTP client tells me the the server actively refused the connection. Don't use FTP much anymore so I cant remember if that's normal or not.

OK finally had the chance to do a port scan of both wireless and wired network interfaces.

The only open port is port 80.

Where to from here?

It seems that Samsung has blocked SamyGo from working from 1004 onward foe the Evo Kit on the E series. I'm wondering if anyone else can confirm this?

Maybe it could be possible to install an Ftp server on the tv running from port 80?
