ok, bought a UE46C8790 and camera doesn't work there too -.-

btw. I have a UE46C8790 and a not working CY-STC1100 to sell here

you bought oldy UE46C8790 just for skype....and doing tests for your camera?! you are unbelievable... What is so special i 8790?

yep

seller lived only 10km from here and tv was about 380?, so should be no problem to sell it again..

C77xx and C8xxx have native skype support and should officially work with STC1100...

yes, it is a good deal! Having in mind that I paid 166 EUR for new main board for my C series to have the Sat tuner, it sounds like a great deal.

o.m.g. i have never been that happy to see the light of a blue LED in my life ^^

i should have mentioned that the c8790 has been rooted before i bought it and i think somwhere there was the reason that the stc1100 didn't got recognized by skype app

so the first thing i had to do was to tell my cam what fifo means...

then i grabbed my usb2ttl dongle, connected to tv over ex-link and formatted mtd_rwarea as described in wiki

after this i tried option 05 but it said no device info

thats when i saw that the cam got started
skype app now recognizes it

i'll try the moip debug stuff on my C6500 where it still doesn't work to see if i really need to format rwarea to get cam working
