greenhorn wrote:for now do not see any argues to go with 2009.2... Been for a while with 2009. All is working with 2011 for me. Only problem I found is the smarthub update (after couple of restarts it starts 10minutes update........that happens also to older firmwares).
Yeb - it's still hard to find arguments for an specific FW... I can only repeat some users... Some of them said 2009... some 2006...
But this FW discussion is an never ending story...

It makes sense. If I reset the TV&SmartHub..... I have about 400MB free space and it does not do any updates for weeks... After installing samygo and some other stuff, I have about 100MB free sprace and it does update every 3-4 restarts, especially if I watch some more hours TV (I have oscam installed). In the debug I see i takes more time to update to 80% and after that it finish immediately.

Because it crashes

Had it multiple times. I have samyGO installed + "my_additional_stuff";) and I have 383.7M of free space on mtd_rwcommon

yes, that is what I am saying.... it can not finish the update. Do you think it can be extended by mounting a USB stick?

Extended? What extended?

On USB sticks you cannot run patches/scripts that's what I cann tell you for sure. Not sure what else you want to "extend" ?
