I think you are getting to the point when shipping/repair will be more expensive than simply replacing the board ;)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!

Hey,

This might be a stupid question, but on your code you move your user.sh file to user.sh.safe which means that your modified exedsp should not start after a restart anyway. I have the same model, and it does sometimes lock up during starts, have you tried a cold reset? I.e. Unplug the whole thing before starting it up again?

hi,

I thought as much too, but shortly after bricking my player I found a post saying that there is an error in that code that prevents excactly this security meassure.
Sadly I wasn't able too find it again (I think it was here at samygo but I am not sure).

I tried cold resets a couple of times now, but I i guess the post I found was right and my modified exeDSP is getting loaded every time.
