Thank you very much for that it looks like a very useful page.
Earlier to connect to my TV I opened up Filezilla, put in the IP address from Menu >> Network >> Network Status >> IP Settings >> IP Setting, I then just hit connect without specifying a port and it logged me in listing all of the directories, allowing me to find widgets etc. Now it just will not connect and I do not see a SamyGO widget on the system anymore. I reset Smart hub earlier to change the region using the >> 2, 8, 9 << method when the terms and conditions appeared. Is it possible I need to resinstall SamyGO? What port should I be using, I tried 3123 as per the Wiki but this made no difference.

Corrections, 'InstallSamyGO-H' is visible on the next page of widgets.
I have also tried connecting on ports 20 and 22.
Please advise how to properly connect.

It means your TV is NOT rooted (anymore?)

Is there a way to check and do I just root again as I did the first time following the guide? Like I have said, all I have done since it stopped working is reset SmartHub a few times.

It's highly likely that smarthub reset messes up root. You might have to restart rooting procedure from scratch.
FTP connection is elementary test to know if TV is rooted.

I am trying to root again but Skype will not open. It brings up the black background with loading on it and then goes to a blue background and continues to load but never does. I powered the TV off from the wall and disconnected the USB key. I then held down the enter button on Skype until it gave me the option to remove it and I then reinstalled. Same loading problem happens.
Please advise.

IIRC, to recover working Skype (at least: to be able to reinstall it properly) you have to change Smarthub country twice (to another, then back to your own):

Thanks, I actually got Skype working again by doing a factory reset from the [MUTE]

[POWER] etc menu.
I now have the TV set to UK but with the Irish apps RT? Player, 3Player, and TG4 installed
The only problem now is that TG4 tries loading but never does, and YouTube is displaying things like 'Popular on YouTube United Kingdom', rather than popular on YouTube Ireland. Both work fine when the TV is set to Ireland and I install the apps normally through Samsung Smart Hub. To resolve this, can I set my TV back to Ireland, and somehow copy the apps to my laptop, switch back to UK, and copy them over to the user directory as I have done already? Could I do it as as below?
dusf wrote:From /mtd_rwcommon/common/wgtmgr/info2.xml I found the IDs of the four Irish widgets I would like, RT? Player, TG4, 3Player, and Tunein Internet Radio. Then, from /mtd_rwcommon/widgets/normal, I copied all directories matching those IDs to my laptop, 111399002000_img, 111399002000, etc. Some just have a directory matching the ID without a corresponding directory with the ID and _img and the end.
