You don't need "analog TV" or even "SD" to have analog signal!!! You can use HD, UHD, SUHD, SSSSSUHD Doesn't matter!!! Converters are cheap as pack of matches

From what I gather, OP has a European version of the j5670. Likely a UExxJ5670 I have a North American version of a similar model (UNxxJ5500) and ran into the exact same problem. I could turn pvr option on however it would be off again after reboot.

Unlike OP's model, the North American versions don't seem to have a "region" option on the main (extended) menu. I was however able to find and change a language_arabic option to EU and region to KOR both in the options>MRT Options menu which appear to have caused the pvr setting on to stay on post reboot (and no, changing region alone didn't work and for me only has two options -USA or KOR)

That said, pvr setting on my set is now on but is still don't have any record or time shift ability...

But how to come into EXTENDED svc menu?
