the "restricted firmware release" worked for me.
but when i tried the newest release (0.3) the screen becomes black and after a while the TV restarts..
maybe the logfile which is created when tv crashes helps somebody:

Great job is being done here guys!
An idea has crossed my mind lately:
We have a great PVR tool thanks to the Samygo's developers. However, some of the recordings are not fully playable by the built-in mediaplayer: we get video, but no sound at all (they are still playable with sound on a PC).
Smartsmurf has succesfully enabled DTS sound on our TV sets. Could the audio problem be fixed for the PVR recordings by taking an advantage of the knowledge got while studying how to enable the DTS sound?

You needed to "copy" it to TV memory first. It make restarts if you try to run program on USB directly.

gdbtrick or
injectso methods (i personaly use
gdb).
