Also to clarify about displayed messages.. there is the only info about "VCR" message (cool..). Message "TV" appears after the Stop button is pressed. No other information is displayed - when already recording, I couldn't find any information about this "status". IMO one of many points which should be developed in future..
Record TV over USB
Re: Record TV over USB
Just short info - I tested recordings to the network (Samba) share over LAN+Wifi. I did not encountered any problem in 20 minutes recording. I planned a little bit longer test but my wife switched channels. Yeah, I shot her for that.

Re: Record TV over USB
It's good to see that improvements...
I use NFS for recording (thats why I have pointed to my mount...)
Definitely, recording some stream to HDD/Flash ends up with some CPU cycles that corrupts the stream. TV's USB stack is not really speedy...
So I think It's only good option that sending stream over Ethernet (and or might be wifi could work too.)
I don't test the new program yet, but will soon. Thanks.

It's a nice one.paul86 wrote:I made logo for pvr application, if you like it you can use it in next versions
Size is for game menu - dimensions got form original games.
I wish I could contribute more to further developement of PVR app , but I' m a little bit limited in the testing I can do (because I don't have any DVB source here, just pure analog TV)..
But, unless I'm very much mistaken, other people are working on the proper, more advanced version[s] allready, so do not be afraid
