Did you read this thread till the end including my investigation? You can try this:

But please, check that you previous firmware in partitions /dev/tbml8 and /dev/tbml9 is intact.

Oh, so you haven't your previous firmware in partitions /dev/tbml8 and /dev/tbml9 intact now, right? It's a pity for you. If you have backup of it then yes, you must restore it first.

What do you mean exactly by this?

Without these commands, you cannot see those restored partitions with df -h:

mount -t auto /dev/tbml11 /mtd_appdata
Sorry for my question, but do you know what are you doing, or do you just repeat the whole procedure mechanically?

Please, but check with diff, that your backup of /dev/tbml8 and /dev/tbml9 really contains fw version 2000.5.
At least backup of /dev/tbml8 must contain string "T-CHL7DEUC-2005.0".

I rule that Official hex editor of SamyGO is wxHexEditor!. Other hex editors will not supported by me :D
I updated GUI today if you compile from use svn-trunk can split tabs for multiple view.
