Hey folks,
i've used this Trick on my CI+ TV and i have again tv that shuts down after approx. 1 min.
How can i do this switch of Partition back?

unfortunately i cannot find my backup of the mtd_exe and mtd_appdata partitions anymore, therefore i cannot flash back to the flashed 3001 FW.

if nothing works, can someone do a backup from mtd_exe and mtd_appdata partitions from a UE40B7090 CI+ TV and send zhis to me?

if an USB Key is inserted and mounted under /dtv/sda1 use this commands in Telnet:

Code: Select all

bml.dump /dev/bml0/10 /dtv/usb/sda1/exe.img.orig
bml.dump /dev/bml0/11/dtv/usb/sda1/appdata.img.orig
EDIT
i've managed the Problem by

Code: Select all

rm /mtd_rwarea/PartitionSwitch_0_0
touch /mtd_rwarea/PartitionSwitch_1_0

Yes, you needed to create Version.1 instead of 0 then.
:)

Thank you, I spell checked the text and polished it a little bit to be more precise. I liked very much the Trojan Horse paragraph especially the picture. Very nice!

We can connect TV within this ways.
It comes to my mind that another possibility could lead such problem : Wrong IP address.
Might be you are entering wrong IP address as an argument of your Telnet..
Please define IP statically to your TV by menus and/or crosscheck dhcp clients at your router.

If you are trying to connect via WiFi, some routers has special option that makes impossible to send packets from one Wifi client to another.
Please test it with Wire first.
