There are 3 versions in the enclosed archive:
sms - executable for TV (linux)
smsx86 - executable for x86 PC (linux)
sms.exe - executable for x86 PC (MS Windows)
Usage is displayed while you run this application without parameters.
Default host name is "localhost". Messages or names with spaces must be written in quotation marks.
The tool works in LAN. I cannot force it to work with WAN (yet).
Tested on LExxB650 model.
The only problem is that message's date/time is based on internal system clock - actually not very big problem for PC, but significant problem for TV-version because TV has no realtime clock built-in. I use NTP synchronization in my TV, so my app treats system clock time as UTC and shifts the timezone to UTC+2 (CET). No configuration for this feature yet. But you can use x86 versions where this problem doesn't exist.
