OK.
Where can i find a working SRS_Module?
in the samyext4.img
Conlusion for me:
The SRS-Module is not part of the samyext4.img in the firts post or ist not activated or not loaded becausae the root method is actual not complete.
* Copy ONLY file samyext4.img to folder SamyGO_data on FAT USB
With the provided files in post 1 Telnet is not working for me (BD-F8500).

Very good. Telnet shouldn't be working

It looks like you have the same version as me.
I can tell you none of the kernel modules will load by default as its an unknown version to the init scripts and won't load them since it does not know what modules to use and I can tell you now if it did try to load them it WILL crash your player and require you to power cycle it to get it working again! that being said most of the MST12 modules do work or partly work. also without SRS loading if the default scripts inject any libs expect your player to reboot or crash every 4 hours or less when root hack is active.
you should wait until a more supported release is available but if you realy want to continue then use ftp to edit init scripts and move mst12 modules so they will load by default (if you try this don't load the mst12 ptys module it will crash your player!)
My advice is to wait until a more supported version is available you WILL end up crashing your player many times corrupting the usb drive with rooting files and worse if you try to continue on your own... there is some work happening on this model it will take as long as it takes! but there is progress

Thanks for explanation.
Waiting for new release of rooting files.
Maybe in future it will work.

Right, but you first need to have keys extracted by keydumper, does this mean keyfiles (16 bytes .key) are well created by PVRdecoder on your BD player?
My observation:
viewtopic.php?f=70&t=8108&p=65081#p65081
Unfortunately the paths are slightly different on the BD player, so PVRdecoder or PVRdumpkeys.sh are not working on my BD-E8900... but the *.key file from libPVRtoTS works for decoding on PC (see link above).

The actual root hack works the fact you get ftp proves it, you have the ability to run any code you want as a root user the problem is more samsung has taken many measures to limit access everywhere they can so even tho you have access a lot of stuff is disabled, blocked or removed it takes a hell of a lot of work from the developers just to get you the most basic of access and every model can be different so some work some don't some partly do... at least the root hack works on this one its just a matter of time

Hi I have my ht-e6750w rooted as ftp is working and so is Telnet. However when I try to set these permissions for the cinaviapatch 'chmod +x /tmp/cinaviapatch' i keep getting PERMISSION DENIED. I have no idea as to why.

I have Deja vu.... Anyway you should ask in Cinavia patch thread and not here

Answer to your question (due to your lack of knowledge) requires at least 5 more posts and I don't want to trash this thread with irrelevant (for this thread) informations

You can put run.sh in SamyGO_data and I think you are doing something incorrectly

Especially this point:
Unpack attached SamyGO_data_F.zip to FAT USB
Ok, you were right I read instruction too fast. I have done it again, this time messages were different, but still isn't working

Same case with my HT-H7750WM.
Any idea when fix available??
