I set port forward on my router and desktop app v0.4 works well for me over internet.
It the same time i tried app on desireHD, tested it over GPRS (edge) (no wifi at work available). It did not work
I`m sure if i use wifi everything will be fine. Is here any setting which internet connection to use, or app is configured to use wifi?

Now RC_over_LAN_mod_Android works fine for me over wifi and GPRS too.
(Got it working by changing to 3G network, but after this works on 2G as well )

Oh, one issue- power OFF button does not work for me...

Today i played a little with sbav1`s tool "Keycode input box" and found some extra keys:
514 - FactoryReset and power off (same as FactoryReset from SM, date of purchase set to today, i needed to set debug and watchdog off from SM again, EDID fail - needed it on and set to write to get success)..

I think these codes are related to PIP or its behavior is similar to ttx screen splitting. (info for adding some extra sources to pip? - 528)
520 - divides screen to 2 parts
521 - back to full screen
522 - back to full screen
523 - another screen divide
528 - PIP to full screen and switch to analog channel, no volume at all...

529 - get caption "working" on screen
530 - get caption "not working" on screen

And now - i was a little scared about after i entered:
531 - gave FW version on screen blinking in red and strange - i couldn`t get from this "state", no power off from RC, TV`s behavior got strange... I think i sent some Factory RC keys to my TV...
I got TV stand by by key 152 (finaly after some researching codes from 500 to 1000 ) and TV was back to normal state.

533 - some Service menu settings on the screen. Get back by pressing 533 again.

Can you putt screenshot of you TV menu (this with Product Guide). At my TV (even if I change language to English) I got:
1. Legal notice (grey and automatic switch down)
2. Product guide
3. Diagnostic

The legal notice includes a statement that "For legal reasons", it will only display in the official language of the selected country. That's why it remains greyed out on yours. The four "up arrow" sequence may be better.

Also I tray color buttons before, but don't look good

You prefer everything in black and white? Just for fun (and to help me learn some AutoIt scripting) I customised v4 to overlay a picture of my remote. The buttons are replaced with labels which are made invisible, except when you click on them (the reaction isn't pretty, but at least it works). The button layout has been altered to match the UK-specific keys, with a parameter option, the default being an alternative picture I found on the web (not as good quality). This is only for the B650, of course. I left the B6000 layout untouched. I would post it here, but just get the error message.

Do you use any special tool for the button layout? I recall using some graphical tool for a similar purpose, but don't remember what it was.

There was a minor bug in v4, with $key_conten and $key_cont used inconsistently. I think maybe one or two other buttons were not declared, which affected my mod.

I prepared next version off desktop app - Remote LAN Control.

Changes in version 0.5:

• configuration box for all options (open from right-click Context Menu)
• panel with extra buttons now can be hide using option from Context Menu
• add some hotkeys; split for 3 groups:
  - numepad
  - arrows & enter
  - multimedia keyboard (need "special" keyboard and only for Win2000 +)
  Using as combination with [Control] key. Like: Ctrl+NUM1 = key 1
• add configurable section for up to 2 User buttons
• configuration box show local IP for PC near IP input for change TV IP
• display of Internet connection status on StatusBar (for Win XP and newer)
• add Direct Source button - HDMI3/DVI
• add section for PIP buttons with 2 new buttons for direct half screen picures
• add key sequence button for ON/OFF Home Network Center (for use MsgBoxService)
• use good keycode for AD buttons
• fix Content button
• back to "text" labels on buttons instead UTF-8 symbols (they don't show on some systems)
• litte change for About dialog
