Is SAMBA working with FW 2006 ? I remeber I have has some issues with a FW but I do not remeber if it was 2005or 2006.

It's fully working. Use this daily for samba shares on Windows 7 PC.

Upgraded to 2006 and root still there.

My question: is secure down fimr from latest official firm? These firmwares, how to correspond to geographical area?

My TV works fine, any problem... but days ago, I purchased the evo kit "SEK1000/ZA" and dont work on my TV. My TV have a own firm from latin america and aparently only be compatible with SEK1000/ZD. Not sure if it's the problem... My TV recognised the evo kit but not finish to install any new soft. each times that TV is ON, the process to recognize the evo kit start again but anything is installed.

I thinking maybe to be it possible change the firm at both devices. I downloaded the latest firm for the SEK1000ZD (1016) and this pack as well include an equal firm to the TV in same download. I'm not shure if I will can install a ZD firm on ZA hardware... I no believe it

In case that downloaded firm not work, I will try downgrades at firms in the first post and maybe my TV keep on USA firm?


I think that if my TV keep on USA firm, maybe will be compatible with ZA hard. It's possible? I'am not experiences into TVs

on tv run update from usb
but this not found FW on USB.

I cannot install, because the menu "software Update | By USB" is not available on my TV (anymore), even not greyed put. Might be because I played around in "Service Menu"? But I have no idea how to bring that button back. Factory reset and SVC reset from Service Menu did not help. Any suggestion?

Problem solved. I first updated via online-update to latest Samsung FW. From that point on time USB-update were available again. After that 0000-update was no problem.

However, the 0000-FV does not bring back the "Expert Mode" in Service Menu as my first FW on that TV had. Do I mix up something?

I'm using es8000 European TV. now TV is also installed the 2018 version you want to restore a version. and the 0000 version I downloaded and copied to a FAT32 formatted USB zip after removing them from eating. SW reset and usb tv did not recognize the 0000 version had I wear, what I do or where I'm doing wrong. Can you help ?
