Can this procedure be executed on a LA40D550 tv?
What's the point of this forum, if no one answers a question for 10 days, in a pinned post?
A simple yes/no would do

I dont have answer to such general question like yours. Except one - please read forum pages related to d series. When you finish, please ask again. But pls be more specific what are you going to do or what do you expect from your tv. Thanks.
What do I.mean? You have to know what firmware is right on tv and WHY do you need to downgrade. Moreover all supported firmwares are listed on first post.
Yes no - we don't need to flood forum. The concept of forum is - user searches by self and if failed then asks for something.
What did you: my impression, you`ve asked first without reading. Don't expect much from others, if you don't care to inform you self.
In 10 days you haven`t read supported firmwares list on the first post? Why?

I hate it when I am accused of not reading.
I spent DAYS reading the WIKI
I read
all of the WIKI about the D-series!.
My model is not mentioned there at all!!
I read the entire SamyGo for Dummies:
http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/SamyGO_for_DUMMIES
To no avail. It is irrelevant to my model. My model cannot be rooted, samygo cannot be installed on it, it cannot be accessed from PC, etc. etc.
So, my very simple question is this.
I have "upgraded" my firmware for my TV some months ago, from Samsung Global, through USB. Because of my upgrade I lost some of my TV capabilities.
Can I downgrade my firmware?
I don't know which version I had before, but now I have Tmst4daac-1021.1
Can I get my original firmware back?
Is this a too complicated question to answer for people who hack tv's days and nights?

Thanks, but I believe you are missing my point.
Tmst4daac is my CURRENT firmware!
I have no idea what was my previous firmware.
Is Tmst4daac the firmware for my model (LA40D550), and the only thing that changes is the numbers?

Do you have any link to T-MST4DAAC previuos(earlier) than your CURRENT firmware? We don`t have any firmware version of this firmware.
btw, you havent mentioned the firmware number...

This time it is YOU who does not read carefully before answering.
I did specify my CURRENT firmware number.
I think I miss something here.
Are you saying that the firmware for my model is always the same "Tmst4daac", and what changes is the numbers?
i.e. I presumably had a firmware such as Tmst4daac-1016.1 (just as an example)?
I have access to 2 more TV sets such as mine which are brand new. Is there any way I can extract the original firmware from them?
Thanks
