Hello all. I am new to forums and ask for your patience. Unfortunately, I upgraded my BD-D5100 firmware from 10-016 to BSP-D5100WWB-021.1 which has caused the cinavia problem. Where can I get firmware to downgrade. The BD-D5100 connects to the internet ok hence the unfortunate update. Thanks :D :D

Curtis2007, I see from one of your posts dated July 08, 2012 that you have BSP-D5100WWB-1019.3 on your PC. Is it possible for me to get a copy of this so that I can downgrade my firmware from BSP-D5100WWB-1021.1.

The idea is that I upgrade from a USB

Thanks

curtis2007, sorry for being so dense. Now I understand why you were trying to get connected to a server for download. I assume that downgraded firmware is available on vermins superhub

Thanks

don't now about "superhub" but if you can browse in internet from your computer then it "should" be possible to downgrade firm too.

what you get from your computer if you go to: http://infolink.zsolttech.com/myenv.php
and (on windows) start -> run -> cmd

Code: Select all

ipconfig /flushdns
nslookup www.samsungotn.net infolink.samygo.tv

Hi,

Should this work for my Bluray Freeview recorder? At the moment I'm just getting a timeout error code 801

Currently running B-BRCM65BSP 1023.0 on my model BD-D6500/ZA.

My firmware; SWU_B-BRCM65BSP_001023_I05_ES000KS000RS000DS000BS000_120204

This isn't specifically listed on the original post, though a similar one is. Has anyone had any luck downgrading this version?

I tried downgrading a BD-D6500 from firmware 1022 (2012/01/17), but for some reason after updating DNS and cold boot, it offered firmware 1028 (2012/06/21). Was that supposed to happen?

Before DNS change the 1028 firmware was never offered, so I assumed it was a SamyGO fixed version and installed it. Now I see it is real 1028 version with same problems as before. Any plans to support downgrading from this version now? I can "guinea pig" if needed.
