To resume, it seems that having both a recording device AND the rooting USB attached helps. Check Telnet then.

Once Telnet works, check F rooting topic for how-to Samba (see "Features"), it works exactly the same way.
ps: do not use Windows Notepad to create smb_userdata!!! Use Notepad++ and set linefeeds to UNIX format.

Hello,

Thank you very much.
Now it works - but it was really strange - I mean procedure of rooting.
Coudl somebody write good procedure - step by step.
What is also important I think - after instal SamyGO I had to physically disconnect the TV from the power supply - otherwise Samygo was not installed - nothing was happened after instalation.
Only after disconnecting the TV from the power supply and turn it on again TV was reset a few times and then install the samygo correctly.

Finaly now I have two USB pluged fro TV (one for PVR and second with Samygo Data) - is it necessary? Or not?
Can I disconnect USB for PVR now?

Regarding to Samba script init - I changed it not under TV - but under linux system.
I was mounted file samyext4.img and after that as root I was modified file 04_04_samba.init
I think it will be very hard to do it by a lot of normal let say users.

Is it possible to modified SamyGoExtensions Pack similar to files dedicated for TV LED B-series? All importants files there were normally on USB stick - not inside to image file.

Thank you.
Happy New Year to Everybody.

Difficult to relate TV unplugging from correct widget install. TV resets itself despite the unplugging from the wall. What do you mean with TV resets few times ... did it reboot alone ?
PVR USB can be disconnected as far as the root is concered but.... try and eventually re-root.
As far as 04_04_samba.init , this is edited on PC of course and restored in the TV via FTP in /mnt/etc/init.d/ folder. This is not very complex and shall not be extracted from image file.

No need to reroot, it seems that booting with PVR USB->root is there, reboot without it->root is gone, just replug it and reboot ->root is back :)

Why do you think it was strange. In first post it is precisely described:
[*]TV will reboot itself or crash (it won't respond to remote control). It is EXPECTED for TV to crash and/or reboot multiple times :)
[*]If your TV reboots do nothing but if it crashes unplug the power cable. DO NOT UNPLUG USB!!!
Did you not read it ?

@TheInvisible, topic for your question is in separate thread: Is it possible to rename virtual USB H series?

@ALL who already rooted - questions not related to rooting procedure please write in H series support subforum.
