I have the same problem here.
No problem in starting the UPNP server, but no way to get the Samba server to work
Tried also your hints, but no changes here...no Samba server.
I am using Win7 64, shoul I do anything on my PC ?

samba server can't work, there is a samba client in the extensions pack.
but for your windows problem set the network zone to local (somewhere in windows control center) and enable file share, or/and turn off windows firewall.
you also can try to set the workgroup to the same what your win computer has in SamyGO/etc/smb.conf.
