Change to NFS. It works much faster then the upnp.
NFS is best configured for UDP
It's not a solution, just another way for sharing files. But it means that i have to add a new service on my server, setting it correctly and crossing my fingers that it will work with SamyGo.
Does SamyGo works with the Microsoft NFS server ?
Setting up the Microsoft NFS service doesn't seem to be a piece of cake : technet/en-us/library/cc753302(WS.10).aspx
but sharing files via NFS is the best solution.
You do not need to use the Microsoft NFS.
I use NFS HaneWIN Server and works very well.

Eric, i just mounted curlftp filesystem (ftp server mounts) expecting situation becomes better.
And what do you think... here is 3rd level limitation also! Not only samba!
If i go to TV over sambaserver access, all filesystem is mounted ok, here isn`t any directory level limitations, just in MediaPlayer.
Seems, patch for mediaplayer needed!
p.s. i use NFS mounts from my debian NAS and here isn`t any limitations.

insert blank usb stick
if usb is not xfs formated, tv will ask you to format it.
if device is fast and big enough, it will be posible to record on it.
start samygo app.
switch to some digital channel.
press red (round) button on RC.
tv should ask you , how many minutes u want to record.
you confirm.
tv start recording.
when you stop , on usb in directory /CONTENTS/ you have numbered files, your stored pvr file is xxxxxxxxxx.srf, rename it to .ts, .mpeg or some other DVB MPEG format.
play somwhere.
ok; thanks.
what if I want to record on my current USB disk ?
Should I format it ? (with what ?)
Currently it is XFS formatted with some recordings in it.
Btw, what does the watchdog service do ? I had disabled it as recommended; should I re-enable it ?
Also, I still didn't upgrade to latest version (1019); is there a release note for that ? (to check what has changed)
Hi,
I need help on this. I still couldn't figure out how to get non-encrypted PVR.
Also, if anyone has knowledge, I'd like to learn what does the new firmware (1018 or 1019) provide. I searched on Samsung site but couldn't find a "release note" or "changes" doc.
Also, what does the watchdog service do ? I had disabled it as recommended; should I re-enable it ?

My NFS shares are ok upto 5th level in MediaPlayer.
I would recomend to write server IP manually. Also sharenames...

Any idea from the dev team ? Do you want us to do some specific testing ?
then it's a kernel bug -> no solution
bug/feature in media players behavior to handle files on local storage media -> not sure somebody is willing to digging into players code...
network/adapter problem -> what should i say...
over 500 succesful installs, now my question how many of them show this problem (but to make the statistic useful) how many don't show this problem
