you should downgrade firmware below 2130 (2130 is last possibility by skype), remove usb, then back to factory from option in menu and start again with Skype root method

Is this successfully rooted TV?

It is non-responsive to remote controle, I can turn it off and on only by plugging and unplugging, it shows one channel (101) but nothing beside that.

What should I do?

I left it unplugged for the 10-15 minutes and now I can change channels and it works "normally", but I can't connect to it via telnet on the port 3123.

I'd say it's rooted, try Telnet on 23 and FTP on 21

Telnet doesn't work, but I successfully connected via FTP port 21, so it's OK to me.

having both a recording device AND the rooting USB attached helps a lot.

Shut down TV. Unplug usb with rooting data. Plug one of your Free usb disk. Start TV and once it loads hit REC . It will ask if it can format the disk. Format and record something then shutdown tv, attach SECOND usb (the one with rooting data), start TV
