Hey,
great work!!! I have just downgraded my HT-D5500 from 1014 to 1012! Well done!
Just to clarify for those who seem to get stuck on 80%.
1. set your DNS
2. dont allow the system to check for internet connectivity just press cancel and get out of settings
3. turn off power for at least 30 sec
4. start go straight to settings -> support
5. should software update be greyed out give it a minute or so
6. press update and make sure it downloads 01112
7. Let it download and install and voila you are all done!
I have to say great work.
Thanks
chaos

Just wondering what you mean by the SamyGO Firmware patched within the FIR* based firmwares?

I have Samsung Blu Ray Player D5300
Model: HT-D5300Series_ZA
Software Version: HTB-D6500WWB-1011.2
Is there any downgrade for this without Cinavia?
Current Version says: 2012/06/12_001011

Hey hany8,
Yes I have the home theatre HT-D5500, so should be identical to your system except for the speakers. I was running the FIRHTBEUC_1014.
It did take me a few times to get it right. The important thing is to make sure that you unplug it for a good amount of time to empty the cache. (I.e. if u get stuck at 80% it is using the wrong ip; try to unplug it and make a coffee

).
You also need to make sure that you don't do anything else but update.
What is your actual problem with the downgrade?

2. reset
3. reset completed. initial setup, luanguaage english, resolution16:9,skip calibration,
network setting
IP Setting,wirless connection
IP mode Auto,
showing mac address,
dnsserver : 46,4,199,2222.
before checking i click cancel.
power off and remove the plug from power socket.
after 4 min power on
setting , software update , showing 28_0010014 version current , select by internet
downloading 01112

Right, another question, did you change the dns on your router? Because you say that you are using ip mode auto?
I changed the ip mode into manual then adjusted DNs on bluray only.
IF you do use your router to send DNs to bluray you must flush DNs settings in router by turning it off leaving it and turning it on again.
Somewhere between your router and your ht the Samsung ip address is cashed.

change the PRIMARY DNS of your routers to 46.4.199.222, restart router. Start TV and go online for updates.

Hi everybody,
I have the same troubles than hany8. My HT-D5550 says it?s downloading 001112 and going up to 80% and then starting again at 0%. After a few times repeating this I get the 800 error. Did already change the Primary DNS in my fritzbox, but no luck. Same procedure as before.
Any further suggestions for me?
Thanks
