1) Install MST-Fix
2) Reboot TV
3) Check that you have root
4) Unplug/Re-Plug USB to make MST-Fix appear
5) Install MST-Fix once again
6) Reboot
7) Check if you have root?

Important part is whether you will have root with two subsequent reboots :) If I understand correctly now you don't have it :)
Very strange behaviour! I have tested it.
In no circumstances I have root anymore :-( even if I uninstalled MST and installed/ uninstalled Non MST before.
That means I can't reproduce ftp access or no ftp access, sorry.
FTP access seems to be randomly.
Question: how can I uninstall the hack completely to be able then to make a clean MST intall?

I would suggest smart hub reset and if this doesn't help factory reset....

Thx a lot!
Last question:
at which point do you suggest the installation of SamyGO?
Directly after reset?

yeah, I would think so :) Best to do:
1) smart hub reset
2) try installing SamyGO
if it wail fail try this:
1) smart hub reset
2) factory reset
3) try installing SamyGO
:)

Exactly as described (with factory reset)!
Result: first boot ftp access OK, second boot not ftp access - I think I'll give up :-(

Grrrr I don't know if you ignore everything I say intentionally or by accident? Once you have root ANYWAY YOU want test this:

Oh sorry, I thought I could forgot the other procedure!
OK once more:
1) smart hub reset
2) factory reset
3) try installing SamyGO
Result after reboot: ftp and telnet access ok :-)

And now the other procedure:
Point 4 didn't have the result to make MST-Fix appear :-(
So I couldn't install the hack one more time.
But: after 2nd and third boot I have root again :-) :? and so on (several boot)

Now I login with my samsung account and made other configuration changes.
After every change I made a reboot.
Everything was fine until:
I change sound to external - reboot - no root under no circumstances (also I can install SamyGO a second time after unplug/re-plug - but still no root).

Now I made all the steps once more from the beginning after new factory reset, except connecting to samsung account and social networks. (Sound changing now has no negativ effect! :? ) and it works!

Does that mean login to samsung account can block root access?

tia
.....................
After a few tests I can definitely say that it has something to concern with the samsung account and perhaps the previews on the smarthub page "my tv-channels". I could reboot with success (means ftp access) a few times after login to my samsung account. But as the previews were present on that page, I have no more access!
Before I managed all apps, configurations and so on without any negative effect to the hack.
