Thanks so much, I successfully applied the patch to my [HTS]E6730 even tho my BluRay is on the latest 1022.2 firmware. For what's it worth, I also had some errors installing on my first attempt but could see they were to do with the WebBrowser hooking, exactly the same as some of the pictures in this thread where the middle section was all red.

Anyway, when I tried to start my WebBrowser after the first rooting attempt I was told an update existed for it and was forced to download it. I hadn't ever updated or used the WebBrowser on my BluRay prior. So, the update finished and I rebooted. I then ran the SamyGO rooting application again from the smart hub and bingo, all patched and green across the board.

I enjoy doing this stuff, it was good fun. Thanks again for making it possible :D

Hi all! I tried to root my bd-e5500 device, but when I open the SamyGo app from the smart hub, I get this error: "it seems that there was a network interference. please try again later". Any clue about that?

I have the HT-F4500. I have set up the USB as instructed, but I do not see where I can run SamyGo on the player. I have tried rebooting, but still does the same thing, which is nothing. Any suggestions?

My current software is HTB-F4500WWB-102.1

I don't see Smarthub in HT-F4500 specs, do you have it? If no Smarthub, no root, no Cinavia removal.

I tried with 3 different usb, i tried with fat and fat32, but the result is the same: "it seems that there was a network interference. please try again later".
I attached some print screens...
