If your TV is CI+, you can only revert back your old FW if this is on your backup partition.
If you have bought your TV with the new FW i think you have no chance to revert back old FW, until Defeating authuld protection is successful.

I have a LE32B650 running T-CHLCIPDEUC-2007.1. Serial console is not working as noted in Wiki (CI+ only accepts numbers), trojan telnet is neither working. As far as I can see, there's no other way than patching a CI+ image to downgrade. Am I doomed?

If you could enter numbers, you can enable serial console via debug menu. I think petergrey found hole to patch kernel on the fly to enabling character inputs at CI+ devices.

What do you mean with "trojan telnet is neither working"? Can you install it? Does it show up in "own content"?

I can install it and it's showing up in the "Child" section, but when I try to start it, TV is just freezing, telnet port is still unavailable, power off is the only possibility to restart. I also tried the "nurisam" hack. The trojan is available in game section and seems to be exceuted (I supplemented a few lines in the shell script, so I know the shell script is executed), but telnet is still not possible. I guess the FW is not accepting/executing the busybox code.

Try the following steps:

- go to "content" -> "content management" (very right item in the list) -> "my content". Then select "children" and the "Run this...." item. A context menu should open. Select "Play" and there you go.

I think some users able to re create hashes but don't know the process actually since i have CI model
