If I understand correctly this tool uploads two files which dump keys for all srf files. Therefore why does it perform this operation everytime instead of checking for presence of .key file? I also tried using drmdecrypt from C-series and it doesn't work with this key files. Is there any change in the encryption?

I have no idea about what the C-series did, but E- and F-series use the AES-algorithm for encryption.

You are right about performing the keydumper operation everytime a decoding is started.
It was simply easier to ensure all keys existed before I started iterating files to be decoded.
I will have this fixed in next service-release.

So are there anywhere sources for a drmdecrypt for E- and F-series? I would like to play around whith it and as some people in this thread I don't use windoze :) Now I have to run your tools (which are very good by the way) trough an emulator. I think this is not a big issue for a GUI app but it would be great to have a native drmdecrypt for *nix systems :)

Actually, if you read the 10 (or so) posts before this one, you will see Bugficks answer that exact question :)

So now we have to find out what he means by "old version" I have tested few compilations of drmdecrypt that I use for C series and everyone of them is not able to decrypt any files from E series while still being able to decrypt every file C series that I have tried :) There has to be some difference ;)

No.

Nobody can be bothered with anything older than E-series basically.

Bugficks has several times stated that HIS work on the E/F-series will NOT be ported back to prior series.
Others have requested his sourcecode, but so far Bugficks have deemed the code NOT to be release-worthy in source form,
and if you are a developer, or know a little about the research&development community, you know you HAVE to respect that, and NEVER ask again.
Bugficks knows his code is wanted and desired, and he will make it public IF and WHEN he wants to.
Also, Bugficks may or may not change his mind on porting the tools back to older TV series, but as I understand him,
he has no free time for porting research-state code at this point in time ..

MY PVRDecoder-tool is just a GUI for his tools, so I cant help you either .. Sorry mate, dead end so far :geek:

Maybe you could emulate Windows and use the original Destroi ?
OK I see, no linux, had to ask because with linux batch scripting is so much easier...
I think you misunderstood, don't want a backport for older tv series, but a command-line version of this one which runs on linux for automation purposes

Well, the needed modules are public due to Bugficks.

Why dont you just ask the needed questions, and script the stuff yourself.
You seem bright .. Support the SamyGO community by releasing Linux-tools ! :-)

The quick answer #1 : You can find them on this forum.
The quick answer #2 : You can extract them from TV after you have used the PVR-decoder.
The quick answer #3 : I tracked down the right people a few hours after i realised I needed the PVRDecoder .. Have you tried ?
