hope somebody can help me. In the past I always found the solution by myself reading the topics carefully.
But this time I've gotto give up...
This is what I have:
UE55F6500 with T-MST12DEUC-1120.0 connected via wifi with fritzbox 7270
internet connection stable and fast enough for streaming HD movies without any problem
filezilla and samyGOPVRDecoder to check ftp access
What I've done:
SmartHub reset and Factory reset, after that setup with any changes (except ecological solution -> off: taking care of my eyes

The installation widget only shows up when plugging flash usb drive under more apps section. I'm using MST-Fix (2 directories and img file copied).
Running the script succeeds. Errors only for samygo1.txt, samygo2.txt and rcSGO. (Once samygo1.txt was created on flash containing only "OK")
I tried all offered solutions for other users here (like double install, etc), but in ANY case I get access to ftp-server - not a single time.
ECONNREFUSED - connection refused by server and samyGOPVRDecoder fails after 50 attempts
suspective is, that waiting for samygo start after reboot there is absolutely no msg nor hint, that samygo does something or is finished
BTW: The TV has only internet connection, no samsung account, no skype account, no facebook, no nothing - shouldn't it?
I also tried NON-MST - just to be sure. No success neither.
And why did stupid me update firmware!!??? Cause it was done when I realized I had to find some kind of cheat and finally found this forum...
Any suggestions? Am I missing something? ...I am absolutely clueless...

I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)

This morning three tests again and I can say that login to my samsung account in combination with smarthubs "my tv-channels" (startpage) and the preview advices blocks ftp.jkarl wrote: After a few tests I can definitely say that it has something to concern with the samsung account and perhaps the previews on the smarthub page "my tv-channels". Just like @zimpel I have firmware T-FXP9DEUC-2221.0 and TV model is UE65F9005.
I began with doing a factory reset (through service menu) as I guessed there still might be Samygo files left from "old" root which I used on firmware T-FXP9DEUC-2006.
However, after doing this, ALL my apps are gone from the App menu, all but the Browser App and I can't access Samsung Apps to re-download them..
The "Menu--->smart features--->Samsung Account" option is greyed out, but it seems to be possible to login with developer account through "Menu--->Network--->Remote Control" instead.
I remember that this happened last time I installed Samygo as well and somehow I managed to get them back again but I can't remember how.
I have tried resetting smart hub and do factory reset multiple times but to no avail.. I have confirmed Internet connection is working and also tried to change DNS setting to 8.8.8.8.
I have searched the internet but can't find any solution that works. Do any of you guys have any idea on how to fix this?
To be honest, I don't care if I have the Apps. But perhaps they are necessary to have when installing Samygo?
Following instructions from the first Post doesn't work, the TV recognizes the USB but no Samygo App in App Menu or "More Apps" menu.
What actually did work was to use "Sammy Widgets" together with developer account and do an App Sync of SamyGO.zip. But when I run it, the info on the screen says either that it can't find any files on the usb or that Step1 and Step2 failed (or "No").
SamyGO Extensions can also be uploaded successfully with an App Sync.
Some versions of SamyGO seems to give an error referring to something like "www.samsung.com/TVAppSecurity". I'm not sure that this happens every time or if it's random (since it worked one time).
I'm not sure which version of SamyGO i used either, I'm a bit confused after testing so many different approaches.
Is it even possible to install the new root through App sync? If so, which files do I need to have in SamyGO.zip?

I had the same issue with the missing apps.
Activate automatic app updates in more apps options (NOT firmware update!)
Smart hub reset
Reboot and wait some minutes
Smart hub removes obsolete apps and downloads a full set of new apps- including Samsung apps.
I had to do factory reset too, but only smart hub should do it.

followed your advice exactly step-by-step and did not change anything in the settings (not even ecological solution).
Also downloaded zip files again to be sure nothing was damaged by previous actions.
I am now using only MST-Fix.
After installation from "more apps" I rebooted and touched absolutely nothing.
(TV starts to smart hub -> my tv-programs)
waiting ..... waiting ... 7 minutes ... and...

waiting some more ... 15 minutes
same result.
exiting smart hub to tv mode and waiting again... another 8 minutes

Although I hoped (see my last posting) to have ftp "forever" after I made a new channel scan on astra 19.2 I lost my ftp access once again.
That meant new smart hub reset and factory reset.
In changing the scan method during setup from satellite to astra 19.2 (I'm from Germany) it was possible for me to skip the setup for "my tv-programs" in smarthub. As a result I don't have the my tv program page now in smart hub until I'd go to smarthub menu and would configure it out.
In my last posting I supposed that there's a relationship between this page, samsung account login and blocked ftp.
Correction now: it's only the "my tv-programs" page!
Now I'm logged in into my samsung account and have ftp nevertheless.
And the my program page is kicked
