Hi
One question. How can we hide the usb pen drive on the SOURCE of the TV ?
As i only use the pen drive for root no need to show on SOURCE :)

/mnt/etc/init.d

Change:

02_04_vusb.init

to

02_04_vusb.init.dis

Reboot

OK. Not i don?t see the virtual USB anymore but i still see the "real" USB pen drive.
But is there any chance to completely hide the pen on the SOURCE ?

You can use libHideSource, but it will also hide all other USBs at once

hallo zoelechat

now I tried each Methode from the first post. no success :(

if I do the Methode with the 128mb file - I use the part of the Archive-data section, I do get the ok file on the usb. but if I trie to connect with filezilla I do get the message

Status: Verbinde mit xx.xx.xx.xx:21...
Status: Verbindungsversuch fehlgeschlagen mit "ECONNREFUSED - Verbindung durch Server verweigert".
Fehler: Herstellen der Verbindung zum Server fehlgeschlagen

do I Need any Special Settings for the ftp? user?

I know I am annoying, sorry!

should I do a factory reset? if yes, how?

Sorry, I don't speak Australian :D
Well I know no other clue than following procedure...
Use another USB (a quality one), freshly FAT format it, forget 1st post, and try that one:
viewtopic.php?f=70&t=8721
Simply follow, don't try to guess! :)
