could you upload your channellist?
i assume you are using T-VALDEUC firmware?
dd with image dump is running, but can your w32diskmanager handle dd dumps to write them onto usb-disks?

i could need some info about the involved modules as mine don't seem to work...

Thanks guys. I now have root, found the file somehow.
The only thing is that I will have to do everything again. the NFS mount, the PVR, and removing the encryption.
The way it was previously I had one drive with one partition plugged in with a very different directory structure.

@only need to remove run.sh and make SamyGO.sh file in the root of your usb.... And all will run as before.

ok, then i don't have to upload the image i crated anymore..^^
and the magical word for you is "Backup", you could have used the usb-dump program not only to write the hack-image to you usb, but also to save its previous state...

This is so frustrating. I had root, made the SamyGO.sh file, but it wasn't working, and suddently I no longer had root.
I started the process again, but now when I try to clone back from USB it says that it says "Failed to receive. Check the USB connection and try again".
At the same time I can browse the USB just fine even on the TV. Any hints?

Hmm. I ran the shell scripts on the by hand trying to see what could be a problem. Is anything persistent, eg. in the rwarea or
would everything be reset with the firmware downgrade and upgrade?

during factory reset or firmware upgrade your hackfiles in /mtd_rwarea/ don't get deleted so if you successfully applied the hack it will stay

It appears that most of it is working
NAS is mounted on NFS, Skype is working including camera, PVR is working as well.Thanks for all your help greenhorn and beatfreak!

I know I'm late to this thread, but
There is a camera(Logitech C920) which incorporates h264 v.fast internal h264 encoding
It isn't cheap but quality is really good. Also it is UVC standarized so linux drivers are just there.
It should work out of the box if we compile driver for samsung.
