Hello,
I have F5500 blue ray player with 1021 firmware version.
I have 3 questions:
1. If I donate can I root the device? I want root only for ftp/necat access.
2. What speed I will get on copying files through ftp/netcat on usb stick/hdd attached to the device? BD is connected with ethernet cable.
3. If I have root access, is it possible to change vertical position and increase font size of the subtitle? Large size from the option it is still too small.

So if I have HT f9750W with latest firmware (1022.0) I can use your method to annihilate Cinavia from my player?

We have ONLY reports about some E models for which it did NOT work. Strange thing it wasn't based on the MODEL or FW VERSION. It was simply based on the number of free memory. on E models with "low memory" rooting didn't work for ALL OTHERS everything worked as expected
