And first install 0000.0 firmware, then right after 2003.4? Or maybe after 0000.0 installation I can upgrade online to 2003.4?

Is there a difference with 2009.2?

You already upgraded several times, updating to 0000 is no more "dangerous" than "normal" update.
If reset was needed, 1st post would tell it.
Of course you cannot upgrade online to fw of your choice. Online=latest.

Hello, i have a 46ES8000 that has problems with crashes and random reboots, I suppose because of the Smart Hub.

I tried to install version 0000 and then 2003.4 or 0000 and 2009.2, always resetting to factory settings and resetting the Smart Hub, but I still have problems.
I don't know if it's normal, but after the reset to factory settings, when i follow the installation wizard and it comes at internet configuration, it gives me a black screen, after 1-2 minutes it reboots itself and then i can configure the network.

How could I solve this?

edit: i think it's the wifi card because in the Service Menu i get a lot of wifi errors.

i have ue46es6340s version tv anyone tired this for on it and worked well?

Hello! I had the same problem a month ago, i have ue40es7000, and the samsung service changed the wifi modul, that solved the reboot problem...
It costs 20euro...

I was wondering if I can disconnect the wifi module and not replace it, because I don't need it, I always used ethernet. Does the software works the same or does it give other errors?

I had the same question for the samsung service, i don't need wifi, always used with cable...but they said it is a must have accessory for the tv, not working without it...i dont know if its true, but they said to me this info...
