Can I downgrade to any FW without any problem e g. T-GFPDEUC_1122.3 - from T-GFPDEUC_1240.3? I've all my FW saved

If your TV randomly hangs, it's a VERY bad idea to up/down-grade, especially if it happens during update

I don't know if TV completely hangs, or only any input (RC or pysical Buttons or HDMI-CEC from BD) all no response but the Movie goes on...

Yeah sure. ANY port is port between 1 and 65535

Hi sectroyer,

I've delete the runSamyGO.sh script, so that telent and ftp is not working.
But I unpluged yesterday the PVR HDD... and the TV is not freezt on yesterday, maybe is the problem that any SamyGO-files on this PVR-HDD is located... I'll be watching the next time

One more question: I can safely downgrade to any FW? I would love to return FW 1120 from FW 1240 I hope so that the SamyGOPVRDecoder works.

At least downgrade is as safe as upgrade, it means not 100% risk free

I successfully downgraded to FW T-GFPDEUC-1122.3!
SamyGOPVRDecoder is now working!!!
And until now no hangs. Very Nice!

Tried again when I discovered that vermagic.txt was missing, but now network_type_info.txt is missing. Can connect to ssh but access is denied with root:SamyGO. No connection with telnet. UE-48HU7500 T-NT14UDEUC-1022.4
Could someone tell me what is written in this network_type_info.txt so I can maybe try to add it myself. Thanks.

first i like to say thanks for this forum, and special to sectroyer and bobsilvio .
I manage to root my Samsung UE65HU8505 , firmware was 1280.8
All working perfect after downgrade firmware to 1150.6 including oscam
I was thinking to writte how i make this to work ( maybe other people find this helpful ).

I swich watchdog off in service menu.( do not play with service menu if you do not know what you are doing )

I disabled updates on router:

unpack all of them and copy samyext4.img to SamyGO. on InstallSamyGO-H I replace on javascript folder the file Main.js with bobsilvio moded file main.js
I copy the two folders ( InstallSamyGO-H and SAMYGO ) on root of 32gb usb 3.0
I Recorded first something on another usb stick and swich off the tv, inserted usb 3.0 and swiched on tv.
Iaccesed my usb 3.0 from the smart hub and the proces was started after 5 seconds without presing any buttons on my remotte control.
after that I just press enter on my remote control:

press exit and reboot tv!

and Bingo!!!!
tv was rooted.

I succsesful downgrade firmware from 1280.8 to 1150.6

I installed oscam and THE LIGHT IS ON !!!!!! ( working like a charm )
If you respect all from first post ( posted by sectroyer is working !!!! (otherwise you just craing here that tv is not working no more))
