Thank you for quoting this. I feel a bit dumb right now for not seeing the third post, although I skimmed through the entire thread. Anyway, its working now. Sorry for bothering you, thanks for the help and a big thanks to the devs :)

Hi,

thanks for your great work.

I still have a problem wirh my TV and hope you can give me a hint.

Hardware
LE32C550
T-TDTDEUC-1024.1

I cannot browse directories with mediacenter, but export and import works fine. I also cannot check with the test image if i need sda or sda1.

What I did:
TV:
-exportet channels to usb
-enabled hotelmode
-exported settings from hotel mode
PC:
-created mount_usb folder in channel_list_LE32C550_1001.scm
-downloaded sda and sda1 examples from page 3 of this thread and extracted them (tried both versions)
-copied patched channel_list_LE32C550_1001.scm to the sda/sda1 folders
-renamed folder to T-TDT5DEUC (as this is the name of the folder created from the hotelmode export)
-copied all back to usb stick
TV:
-import channellist
-enable hotelmode
-import settings (in hotelmode)
-----with sda version of the files i get an errormessage like "check usb connection" or sth like this
-----with sda1 version everything works fine
PC:
-checked usb stick - run.ok exists
-tried to connect via telnet [/b]conection refused[/b]

Questions:
-Is the TV especially with T-TDTDEUC-1024.1 patchable?
-Telnet should work after the "run.ok" was created?

It would be great if you could help me.

Thanks

Try to connect via ssh. telnet is outdated and not enabled by default (don't know if its even available). And don't forget to follow the instructions in the third post to make the hack permanent. otherwise it gets deleted after a few minutes.

So after reinstalling my Notebook (after a little mistake with chmod...) I tested again today.

did everything as mentioned in post #3.

Telnet and SSH was not working.

After copying Busybox to USB stick and start it from run.sh telnet works. THANKS!!!
run.sh now contains:

Code: Select all

/dtv/usb/sda1/busybox telnetd -l /bin/sh &
