Sorry, I did't intend to confuse you. I guess I mixed something up.
Yes, this is my FW. But I'm not very confident with 2007, I'd prefer testing 2003's ServiceMenu. If no success, I'm gonna use ExLink. Tomorrow is the day for truth...

I've been too busy the last days for working on my TV. But now I'll continue.
Unfortunately, trying to downgrade to 2007 did't work out, no FW was recognized (I extracted the FW file on a FAT32 thumbdrive).
FW 2003 was not to find anywhere on the web.
But as SamyGO homepage says enabling ExLink works with 2007, I should flash this first...
My guess is that I have missing alternative firmware on TV's menu? Why wouldn't a rollback work either?

Update: as my FW is T-CHL5CIPDEUC 2008 I am not confident enough to try ExLink with it. Downgrading fails every time with FW 2007.
There is FW 2006 named T-CHLCIPDEUC (-> withOUT "5" ) which I don't dare to try flashing.

I hope anyone can give me a hint?

Now I would be prepared to use ExLink. I finally got an adaptor for my serial cable (2,5mm -> 3,5mm).

BUT: my questions above are still not solved. I just need to know if FW version 2008 can be manipulated via ExLink
If not, how to downgrade to version 2007?

I successfully established serial connection to my Samy.

This must be a limitation to FW 2008 - so how can I downgrade? Please let me know

Yes, sorry for that, it seems I was too excited for "hacking"
I finally did it! I followed the wiki instructions and after TV's reboot its media play included Movies.

Maybe the wiki page could be updated with my TV series in the list so more people (with FW 2008) become confident to "hack".
