maybe not all partition images needs to be crypted and signed in a firmware update package.
btw. first we need
- fwn.bin
- uboot
- uboot_env
- a way to restore this partitions if something goes wrong
maybe onboot has some flash procedure included (and usb support)?

Does anybody still has a copy of the UExxD6500 or compatible firmware source? Samsung has taken it offline. I contacted OSRC but they tell me they haven't got the source code anymore.

Well, you can ask everywhere, if nobody has it or nobody wants to share it, you won't get it
