But once I go to Fernbedienung section on the software and try to send a command, I am always getting this error message below, any idea why I am getting it?
It means:
There is no remote control possible
Maybe with C series it is different, but in D series, it could maybe be:
I think, that on tv remote: menu-settings.... in one sub menu, there is talked about external remote. If it is enabled or disabled. When disabled, then this german soft. can't make orders to TV. If enabled, then it works.
Maybe it helps ?
But I would like to change this ruSamsungTVCommunicator order:
Code: Select all
1. Turn TV on, enable in tv menu external remote control.
2. Open this ruSamsungTVCommunicator program, choose IP and let it connect to TV. There would be error, but THEN should appear a question on TV screen: "If you want to give tv control to this remote... (or something like that). Choose OK.
3. Turn OFF(StandBy) your TV
4. Press INFO, MENU, MUTE and POWER.
5. Open ruSamsungTVCommunicator
6. In the service menu press on ruSamsungTVCommunicator remote: FACTORY and 3SPEED
7. Now you can change the "Local set" entry or whatever else you want to change
8. Do a "Factory reset" in TV service menu.
9. Done

Nope. Try contact developer of ruSamsungTV... to add support of your TV model.
Another way: might it is possible to change model type over ExLink?

I think I have found to the problem, why change the name of the TV has some problems with the menus, tv screens and apps.
I read on the Internet that if youre going to change the name of the Samsung Support thats not all. You have to change the Tools menu value too. Because these two are linked together.
If you change the model name on the TV, but you leave the tools support menu unchanged, then problems start to raise-apps does not work, menus, colors, etc. are off and so on.
Can anyone can confirm this information? Or this is not true?
If it is true, then please, post your TV original MODEL name AND ORIGINAL TOOLS SUPPORT VALUE. Mine is D6100 and 59.
What are these values in D6500, 6900 and so on?

Just an FYI that the ruSamsungTVCommunicator program enabled expert(extra) menus on plasma model D8000, tools value = 31.

Just upgraded TV FW: 1004 to 1010.3
ruSamsungTVCommunicator remote still works. Still can change TV model. It seemed to me, that you can install the original D6500 T-GASDEUC soft too.
1010.3 software made some extra menus in tv menu and in service menu too.
I changed my tools value = 59 to your tools value = 31, but I did not see any change. Everything was same.
